There was enough pressure applied by his team mates to bring out Paul's effectiveness last night.
He has 53 disposals (16 contested) and 1 tackle from his 2 games since he returned.
So in other words, he's a frontrunning seagull?

Was on 2nd level, isle 29 when he kicked that, looked at my mate puzzled and "wow, wtf was that". Didn't know if it was intentional or not but I can see now it was, absolutely freakish.
Watching him earlier this year he had no sense of no security about his footy, yesterday he seemed to disply that confidence he has displayed TAC cup level.I rate tonight games right with the West Coast game last year. Pivotal.
ALL offence? Give me a break. He won several 1 on 2s last night. His ball hunting abilities are defence.I wouldn't go to that extent, I am just reinforcing that he is ALL offence, which is great if your midfield is breaking even or dominating, but it's seriously detrimental if the blokes around him aren't doing the blue collar work, as we saw last week.
Based on last nights match, he was our version of Shaun Burgoyne, and head to head, he probably shaded him.

You and our previous coach are short sighted on how to use this bloke.
Thankfully now we won't have to go through the embarrassment of watching him tear it up at another club due to not getting opportunities.
Watching the game one way helps him overcome his knee demonsWatching him earlier this year he had no sense of no security about his footy, yesterday he seemed to disply that confidence he has displayed TAC cup level.
didnt he play mainly as a half back there?
That's ALL offence I guess? Admit you misjudged this bloke, despite the amazing games he played last year whilst playing unfit.16 contested out of 53 = 30%
That leaves 70% loose mopping up & receiving.
Called itWonder if he could play a role off half back like Jake Lloyd at the Swans?

wasnt aiming at the knee issues Im thinking that BS man managed him wrongly........almost had him within his headspace he was 2nd guessing everything instead of encouraging the kid to take the game on.Watching the game one way helps him overcome his knee demons

Still think he is slow?

It’s actually what he does with limited time that is his USP for mine.If he is given time with the ball you can almost bank on good delivery and to our advantage every time.
