I want a ruckman who is multifaceted, but plays as a tall; someone who is at home winning taps, sitting a kick behind (ala a traditional ruckman) and floating forward after losing their man. That's not one dimensional at all; in fact, it's more or less precisely what I said in the post you quoted, which makes me wonder why you chose to get rid of the majority of what I wrote to make an argument that is completely not what I said.

Who says we haven't? A few posters have commented that the issue might be more guarantees regarding playing time, which the club won't do. He probably doesnt want to be earning $120k playing VFL when there's potentially media and commercial offers on the table.

I spent a weekend with Kreuz three years ago (maybe four - hard to remember exactly) at the Port Philip Island Moto GP. Free beer and junk food/pies were everywhere. It was the off season for him but he was already set on getting in shape for the pre-season. He showed up with his physical trainer and didn't go near a pie or any fried food. Nursed his single daily beer like it was a bottle full of sacred liquid (which I guess it was in a way). Sat and BS'ed all night drinking water while all us other idiots were downing food and alcohol like it was the end of the world.

I gotta say I was impressed with the discipline and have cheered for him personally ever since, even though Carlton suck and I can't stand to watch you win.

A few years ago I came across Kreuz's mum as part of my job.I opened the conversation by saying how proud she must be of Matt. She quickly replied that she was equally proud of all her children. She gained my respect straight away.Made me think he came from a very tight family.

I think a couple of posters that are solid and some media outlets have said no offer has been put forward.
It would suprise me as well if true but no one knows for sure yet.

Warnock could only tap, and he's not hitting to advantage, merely to a patch of grass. He couldn't play as a KPF, or even a floating ruck; he couldn't sit behind play, because he couldn't read the play. What I've described above is more Cox than Warnock.

I wouldn't have thought a post barely 3 paragraphs long would cop a tl;dr. Maybe I should rethink my posting...
