Destroyed like in the McGovern trade?
Say what??That was me when I had heard Barass had left.
How is McAdam shaping up? Haven't heard a single thing about him this year.We traded a practically worthless future 5th along with a state league player who was never moving away from SA and two 2nd round picks that were change from the Gibbs deal for McGovern and what became pick 44 in this years draft.
To get that pick 13 from Sydney, Adelaide had to pony up the pick 40 themselves and add that to our 2nds.
I feel like we did ok.
you haven't heard?Say what??
AFL might change that...They can't afford to match our offer
Coniglio has myxomatosis? What do all the rabbit emojis mean?
1. not all banana skins get slipped on
Someone pissed him/her off and they said goodbye. I hope they come back!!Say what??
AFL might change that...
Particularly if there is an announcement this week.I still feel like he stays at giants
Which means Gws can match and force a trade?
An unrestricted free agent can automatically move to the club of his choice.
An offer to a restricted free agent may be matched by his club, which has right of first refusal over his services. If the unrestricted free agent does not wish to remain with his original club, he must enter the draft or seek a trade.
Restricted free agents have the right to move to a club of their choice, subject to the current club’s right of first refusal over their services. That is, if the current club can ‘match’ the offer from a suitor club, the player must stay or enter the draft. The tabled offer includes only football payments and Additional Service Agreements (ASA) amounts.
We are still very keen on Papley, Swans holding firm on demands. Only real chance is if Papley pushes heavily for the move and Swans feel pressure to move him on when currency is high (in contract).
It would be great to get him signed up quickly Lachie Neale style and not be in a bidding war with four other clubs until the last day of the trade period
We are done with the hard drafting. That is clear as day. We are adding cream (quality) to the nearly baked cake now, so to speak. Papley, Coniglio, Martin, Crouch etc. are all those top class players who are considered exactly that. We’ve rebuilt fairly well and done the hard yards. But it’s time to breakthrough and become a force by adding those players. SOS, Agresta and co. need to have responsibility in finding some gems in the second, third round of the draft now. Something we’ve struggled with for a while.
