Danny Frawley's service will be broadcast on Fox Footy today from 3 pm, I don't think I will watch it, mainly for the fact that I really don't want to witness the grief and pain of Spud's girls and loved ones. 😥😥😥😥

Why was Lachie Neale’s evidence allowed? Everybody knows that opponents lie to get the offender off?(Except David Polkinghorne). I’m certain that at one of these tribunal hearings this season the panel refused to hear from the umpire. I thought it was strange at the time and, now, I’m totally nonplussed.

I’m not sure I buy in to this players code talk. For certain instances I think it would occur, but I know if it was me who had been punched in the head behind play and I couldn’t retaliate, I would in no way aide my opponent in getting off.

If it’s in the street, you belt them back, if it’s in a game, you wait for your time and you get your retribution through the tribunal.

Could you make an argument that Greene, Cogs and Whitfield are GWS's three best players? I know they are a team full of stars - but I think you could!! Unbelievably s**t luck! (except for Greene - what a knob.)

I firmly believe that Jezza is a top 3 Giants player.

Whether you witness or imagine it Elmer it’s still painful.

Funerals should be measured out in equal proportions of grief and celebration. Yes it’s a truly sad outcome but Danny was a great human being and there will be plenty to celebrate.

I might IQ it and have a meaningful discussion with myself as to the pros and cons of watching it.

Collingwood are the luckiest club in the AFL.

Only made the top 4 because West Coast had a brain fart in the last round at home against Hawthorn.

Faced a fading Geelong in the first week who looked like they were so obsessed with a home final that they didnt bother turning up.

Now they play a crippled GWS in a prelim with most of its top players out injured, or suspended for bizarre reasons that make no sense.

Don't forget the bounce of the Milne behind in the drawn 2010 Grand Final !

Always think moat Grand Finalists/Premiership Teams need a bit of luck to go their way.

Richmond are also very lucky Tom Hawkins is missing this week from an idiotic act of madness from the Geelong spearhead.

De Goey would negate their charmed luck somewhat if he isn't able to play in the Grand Final .

Gee wizz the Danny Frawley service being broadcast on SEN is bringing tears to the eyes.

So many of his mates talking choking back tears.

Was loved by so many.

Make sure you talk to someone if you're struggling people. And make sure you check on your friends. Even the most jovial ones. Esspecially the most jovial ones.

very very very good point.......

He is no saint, but I do think his notorious reputation has been blown out of proportion..

How is this - or eye-gouging - blown out of proportion?

I'd kill to have him at Carlton, but the bloke's a thug, albeit a supremely talented one.

Edit: rewatching those clips, it does make me miss formidable players running around who simply would not have had a bar of that kind of conduct on a footy field directed at their team. If he played years ago, he'd have had someone knock him into next year and it's a pity he's so protected onfield.

My heart bleeds for the AFL's love child; not.

There's a difference between protecting your space with your leg and kicking out at someone, he is kicking out.

Well to be fair, the MRP let Toby off with the high boot to the face fend off, so a lot of the blame has to go to them for allowing Toby to get away with for so long. Anyhow he seems to have cut that part put of his game thankfully.

Still don't believe that it was conclusive that Greene eye gouged anyone, but regardless, I hope he can learn from these past 2 weeks and not resort to these silly and potentially damaging actions

By no means do I think Greene is a thug at all, just a young bloke with some serious anger and lack of discipline issues. And these thinks can be rectified with some serious counselling/management and if Toby himself wants to change.

Some people on the main board seem to think he is a lost cause, which i think is a load of ignorant, ill informed nonsense. But as I said it has to up to Tony to want to change his ways and try repair his tainted reputation in footy.

Gws can't catch a break.

They get the worst luck. And its always to their stars.

A pies v tigers grandfinal will be massive though. The build up will be huge. Melbourne will be pumping.

Oh man, just saw the video that Anita Frawley and his girls recorded for his public memorial today on the news. That poor, brave family. So proud of them for talking about Danny and his troubles over the past 12 months as well, in amidst their heartbreaking grief and loss..

My mother often tells my I get too upset/emotional when we (Carlton) lose and things like Spud's passing really hits home what Mum says.

David Rhys-Jones disagrees and is thankful for the band of brothers silence.
