Way too harsh on the half back flank suggestion. We are spitballing here. For a team that played Blicav as a ruck in a final there are no bad ideas at this point.

The thing with Danger is he doesn't defend. And honestly, I'm not sure that's good enough. He also misses easy goals. He can marks like a demon. Attacks the ball with such speed and strength. Will let an opponent run past him with the ball while he catches his breath.

Forget Brownlow votes, that's a farce of an award. Less useful than my fantasy team to judge footballer value.

If we did the leading teams thing again I can guarantee Danger is getting raked across the coals (along with plenty of our stars). I used some of his play in finals to teach my daughter the value of hitting targets and how much everyone runs extra when you don't.

He's a superstar. He's paid part of the stadium rebuild off himself. Made me pump my fist in joy as much as any Cat. He's probably made us more relevant than we are as a team. I suspect though, he's also part of the problem preventing us from winning a flag. Figuring out how to best use his last 2-3 years isn't as easy as everyone is making out if we are actually chasing a premiership.

Tassie can't get a team. We can't get fairness. AFL not afraid to crap on heartland regions. The number of incredible footballers produced in the Geelong region...it's offensive the way they reward that passion for the game.

This is TV deal decision making or throwing good money after bad.

Alternative thoughts are beautful.

The issue is when every thought is that. The club can't be doing everything wrong that needs an alternate thoery. Gets back to the basic of a supporter board. You have to actually show support for some aspect of what is being done.

Otherwise you aint supporting, thus the borderline acceptance or treatment as a non supporter.

Its really not that hard.
