Polson for all his faults, has certainly done a lot better than the rest of us as a footy player, think all these cheap gags and put downs of Polson as a player is 'just not cricket' old chap.

I tend to think these days that you shouldn't write anything (negative) about a player that you wouldn't say directly to his or her face.

I actually like and rare you as a poster FK, so i don't want to have a crack at you personally, just don't see why we have to resort to posts or jokes that are or could be construed as demeaning to any of our players.
It's okay to be critical or point out the limitations of Pol or any other player, but keep our the insults or jokes at their expense, players have enough problems dealing with their own pressure and mental health issues these days in the pressure cooker environment of AFL Footy.

Agree, this would be a good result. I’d much prefer Levi on the list than Phillips if it was one or the other so I really hope it pans out this way.

Levi can play forward, ruck, and proven more than serviceable down back. Also, Phillips way more injury prone than Levi.

I'm guilty of going for the cheap laugh. I actually think there's something to work with Polson. I admire his agression and tackling. Reckon he's one of the best tacklers on our list.
