Hmmm... Wouldn't it be fun to trade say our 13th, our 2nd this year and possibly a fringe player to Gold Coast for Ben King?

Reckon we’ve already asked about King like most clubs.

The saints list management is wack. I mean this is a team that doesn’t have any A grade inside mids. And they are targeting everything but inside mids.

Hills a pretty logical pickup (even though Freo should make them bleed for him) but I’m pretty sceptical about these other pickups. Essentially when Ben King seems like the long term priority. Where are they going to find these a grade mids from?

Not suggesting they will, but IF Power/the club blink on either of the Bruce or Keath trades, this board will be a very unpleasant place to be.

I think the key is to make the Keath Deal happen early without using either of those first two picks (13,32). Can we turn 45,51,53 into a pick in the mid 30s and give that to the crows in a straight swap.

Then we can go for the jugular with the saints. Offer pick 32 for Bruce and then up the offer to include a steak knives player. 32 and one of Jong/Lynch etc being our final offer.

I like to know how the Saints are going satisfy Brown and Carlisle then fit in another King, not even mentioning the salary cap. Did they trade for Essendon's accountant too?
