Scully didn’t have much impact this season, hopefully that continues and Patton follows suit.

Definitely past their best. Scully was a gun, Patton never really reached any lofty heights due to his injuries.
I reckon Casboult has/will have the better career.

Could be a smart play by NM.

Not seeing any clubs who would give them two picks in the teens for 8 and 27, but if they trade up to Pick 3, that may force GWS to deal with them (and overpay, as they're inclined to do in these situations) instead of Adelaide to get ahead of a bid for Green.

NM trade 8 and 27 for 3.
NM then trade 3 and change for 6 and GWS's future first.

NM utlimately turn 8, 27 and a late pick into 6 and a future first.
Melbourne gain a second rounder for a slight downgrade, which won't worry them given the evenness of the draft.
