There is nothing bold in predicting Essendon missing out on the 8.

1. Essendon win a final, with a 10 goal haul from Daniher and selection headaches with a fully fit list to pick from

2. Eddie won’t say something stupid this year

3. Damien Barrett grasps the English language in one written piece

4. Rowell doesn’t win rising star

5. All Australian isn’t predictable

In seriousness;
1. Pendles finally wins a Brownlow
2. Daniher remains at bomberland, fantasia leaves and wines arrives
3. Tom Lynch boots 100+
4. Clarko leaves the hawks
5. GWS wins the flag

Sydney and Adelaide bottom 4 with Carlton winning the spoon
Hawthorn and Geelong bottom 6
A team to be forced to abandon games due to the the spread of coronavirus amongst their players
Some games to be played in front of empty stadiums due to coronavirus

1. Tippa wins the Coleman

3. Charlie Cameron will take Mark of the Year and get Goal of the Year
4. The BONT will get 40+ Brownlow votes

Geelong fall to 8th. Miraculously overcome Chris Scotts finals hoodoo and make the grand final. Only to be thrashed by GWS (or the Gold Coast Suns).

1. Jesse Hogan to make a miraculous comeback game by kicking 6 goals.
2. Gold Coast to win more than 3 games this season and play exciting footy across the entire season.
3. The Bulldogs are all hype and will miss out on the 8.
4. Adelaide will be worse than expected and finish bottom 2
5. Carlton won't make much improvement this year at all and will stay relatively in the same position.

Gold Coast, Adelaide, Sydney, St Kilda all bottom 4.

Essendon win a final, creating a real air of uncertainty whether the coaching succession is a good idea or a bad one and bringing real Malthouse/Buckley vibes (albeit in a less successful scale).

Wingard returns to AA form, averages 20+2. Still only gets about 1 Brownlow vote though.

The AFL media collectively celebrates the return of the Power Forward when Ben Brown, Jack Riewoldt and Buddy all kick big bags in the first month or so of the season - only to settle back into dire low scoring dross by May and never change for the rest of the year.

Despite all the hype, Rowell misses out on the Rising Star, but loses it to teammate Rankine.

They dont travel often, so rarely that wins on the road are barely relevant.

8 games away from the MCG last year, 5 out of Vic. About the same as other MCG based teams (excluding sold games).

Hardly "so rarely".

Ablett will retire before seasons end..
Gold Coast will make the 8..
Essendon will finish last..
Cripps will win the Brownlow..
Patton will win the Coleman..
