Hence The Great Commission (GO AND MAKE DISCIPLES IN ALL NATIONS), and local and worldwide missionaries.'
There are billions of unreached peoples, and perhaps that's why human life on earth is still rolling on.
Didn't mean it to sound that way. Although I think I'm lucky to have been born into these circumstances, I realise that it gives me a head-start on others who don't have that advantage, but that means more is expected of me.
Its like saying people born with black hair will be treated better in heaven than those of us with blonde because thats just how it is. Its not my fault I wasnt born into a christian family but heck, Im going to be well behind you in the queue to Gods sauna of eternal bliss because I was born in the wrong circumstances.
You could argue that this is all part of Gods plan, maybe God wants me to work harder for his love and he chose to give yourself the easier ride by putting you with a family that'll "raise you right" while I'll have to get desperate sometime in my 40s and seek God to become a born again believer.
Exciting!

In European culture specially or in Christianity, how many black/chinese/asian looking gods/prophets/angels have you seen? all gods have blonde hair, blue eyes. Maybe thats what he meant by privilege. Bloody hell even Adam and eve were white lol
I have blonde hair and blue eyes!
But my daughter got her mothers brown eyesAnd she has brown hair, so shes really down the pecking order.
Punishment for leaving Christianity...i will see you in hell then brother.
At least it'll be warm! I assume they have marshmallows, but since its hell, they never melt in the flame. Truly a horrible place.
Atleast you can chill out with some intellectuals like Hawking, Dawkins, Hitchens, Einstein, Feynman, Shakespeare etc. While Cardinal Pell and the catholic pedos will welcome them to heaven. LOL
I dont think Catholics are going to Christian heaven![]()
Islam IS the most popular religion worldwide, Christianity is on the decline and been on the decline for a long time now in the developed world. It will continue to be that way.
I heard Muslim heaven is more fun..

I don't know what metric you're using to measure 'popularity' but if it's the relative 'numbers of adherents' you're wrong by almost half a billion.

US/Europe/Australia are all on massive decline. Its only on the up in 3rd world countries.
Ohhhh ... I see.
So when you said "Islam IS the most popular religion worldwide" you weren't including third world countries. Why don't you consider them part of the world? Is it because they're full of yellow and brown people? Strange, I didn't think of you as being a closet racist. IMO it would've been far better just to admit your statement was wrong rather than try and ignore certain segments of the earth's population in a last ditch effort to appear correct.
With education stupid beliefs go. This is happening in 3rd world countries as well, even in the Middle East but not as fast as in Europe. The reason why it's up in 3rd world countries is cause of their population growth.
Islam will be the most popular religion in the world, in the next decade or so
..so i stand corrected.
I had this chat with Vdubs, for example,in Sweden people (including myself) are registered with the Lutherian church, we have to, by law. We are counted as christians, yet we are all atheists. Younger people in Europe are majority atheists, the decline of christianity will continue as older people die out.
People with less education i meant, hence 3rd world countries. I spend 3 months out of a year in several 3rd world countires, people would believe anything. Whether Allah is coming to save them or Jesus hugged them at night. If you look at the demographics of religion you will see religion is the most important in all 3rd world countries and in decline in the US. In Europe (the birthplace), it's almost dead. Not sure you're improving your position much there. You argument now is that 3rd world countries don't count because they don't have any schools and they're too stupid to practice birth control?

I am listed as a christian in Sweden, so is my wife. The same in Switzerland, as we pay church tax and plenty of atheists do too. The numbers are inflated.

Did you glance through the article?
Were you both baptised in the Lutheran Church? Did you answer 'yes' to the the survey question 'Do you believe in God?' The document also talks about frequency of prayer etc.
I go to the church, if you been in Sweden you know you go to the church for cultural reasons, not because you believe in Jesus. When i got my Swedish passport (family member route), i had to tick a box, (choice of religion). I wasn't given a choice as an atheist. Might be for the people born there but i wasnt.
However, members of Church of sweden don't really believe in christ, as i told you, being christian there is much more of a culture and got nothing to do with religion.
Only 15 percent of members of the Church of Sweden say they believe in Jesus
Why are you relying on a short article from almost a decade ago when I've just posted the seminal work on this issue, published less than a year ago and running to 108 pages?
Here is my question: why do you think that is?
Why did God make a reality in which his existence is unproven?
