I know they cop it and we should cut them some slack because they are humans and humans make mistakes. But if you plucked 3 random neutral supporters off this site, put them in uniform and told them to umpire this game tonight, would they really do any worse?

I wonder if we should have officials who’s job it is to throw the ball up or throw it in, and officials watching from tv monitors relaying decisions to them via earpiece. Given the speed of the AFL ball movement I think you could see so much more.
