Good test against the top side.

Marshall isn't in top notch form so Ryder stays in yeah.
Did Byrnes spend any time in the middle? You know that's usually what you do with kids, play to their strengths first. Steele, Gresham and Jones got our clearances, there must be room for Byrnes/Bytel to rotate through there SURELY!
Has Ross got another role, down back maybe? He must be offering a lot a guidance, or something...
Battle will miss, looks like he'll need stitches for that, not coming back after five days I would think.
Lonie wouldn't be on the chopping block if he didn't have those two set shots... bad choices those. I'm a fan on Lones but he might have a rest after that.
Gears quiet again but apparently did a job on Smith.
Hanners said pre match that he might be another week away, which would suggest five days is a no go.

Byrnes most likely out depending on who is available. Others in the gun are Ross lonie battle. Don’t think any are apart from maybe battle with injury. I’d drop Marshall if he has to play mainly forward especially if battle is available

Good match up for Geary. Byrne Jones is a gun off half back. Needs to be curtailed somewhat.

Great challenge for the team. So often you hear former players talk about a win on the road that was a crucial moment in a club’s rise. If we could get another win in Adelaide against the top of the ladder side, it would be a huge moment for the club.

I know Byrnes only have 5 possessions but our duel B&F winner had 10 , Ross must go before him

Hopefully Byrnes gets another go , he needs a chance to at least adjust to the pace of the game.

People saying we are not really playing well are right so imagine once Hill , Membery , Billings , Marshall , Ross turn it on.
If Battle is ruled out this week I fully expect Sinclair to come into the side.
I would rather drop Lonie and keep Byrnes in the team for another go.

Just read through the above, am i missing something ? Hill not mentioned in any of the above outs:

i can accept a player not getting touches that's not the whole aspect of a game, but when you are down on form surly you try to work into a game? Hill has been nothing short of average.

v Carlton = 8 touches 155 meters gain 0 tackles
v Freo = 11 touches 157 meters gain 0 tackles
V Crows = 12 touches 137 meters gain 1 tackle

right now as far as our off season recruits go i reckon

Butler
howard
Jones

All above Hill, Just my opinion, but at least look interested ?

maybe im ranting so hard because im still so disappointed with that level of umpiring.

Can't believe all ya'll saying Byrnes should be dropped. Such a fickle place this is.
He did not look ready for AFL football last night.

People were excited about a player they had never seen play before, and after last night, it was clear he needs more time in the 2nds before playing regular senior football.
