Like what I've seen of Schoenberg, not lots of touches but seems dangerous and smart.
Would like to see him lift his eyes and look for a kicking option - but plenty of time for that

3/7 ratio should be at least 5/5 or better

As a pessimistic bastard, even I saw a few positive signs in that half. Schoenberg, McAdam, Pohlke, McPherson, Himmelberg all trying hard...Smith and Keays ok. Older players just letting them down at key times...that missed goal by Seedsman, Kelly, McKay, Hartigan have all cost us goals through awful play.

At least he tried on the field and made a contest or offered a target when he was out there.

Tex has spent the last three seasons not trying.
Like his last game for the crows when Blighty put him at half back because he wouldn't compete or chase?

Did Brodie Smith want to even try and stop that ball there?
Looked like he thought he was repaying Poholke and trying to avoid the ball

Part of our play looks OK, but it's consistently the last disposal that ends up as a turnover, usually by being a poor decision (i.e. to a player under the pump), or our players like Stengle fumbling and coughing it up. Add to that the horrible misses by the likes of Seedsman and EH - when we do actually get a chance to score, and it's easy to see why we won't win a game this year. Not at AFL standard and not good enough.

Sloane has had his moments, but they aren't in midfield

5 touches from 77% game time. Absolutely putrid. Tex 3 from 79%, just as bad. That's $1.7m in TPP providing what you'd expect from a second round selected rookie. And these guys are beyond criticism. They represent everything wrong with this club.
