He hasn't missed a game all year and had months beteeen r1&2 to get his body right. He is simply being used in a role that exposes his weaknesses and doesn't take advantage of his strengths.

He doesn’t take it well, spits the dummy and fractures the playing group in the process. Demands a trade back to WA to play for his beloved Eagles and ends his career a multi AA superstar.
Well probably not that last bit.

Let's he honest, this should have been done by Hawthorn already this season.
I think this is Cameron's last play - this has probably been hanging over Coniglios head for most of the year - there's probably been ultimatums for several weeks and has now come to the crunch. Cameron must have lost lost complete faith in him to do this. This is not a line in the sand moment - its past that - its a full admission of failure. Once the faith is lost he may as well pack his bags. Will not be captain next year and will probably be traded.Well it goes one of 2 ways from here.

Pointless PR stunt. I doubt the selection committee did this, he would of done it himself otherwise Jeremy Cameron would of been dropped weeks ago. Better be a late in.
Well I guess it ended Worsfold’s career in 1998...and Ayres was done at the end of 1993...
but those guys were 30+ and nearing the sunset.
