Offensive coordinators are either QBs or OL coaches for the most part. There weren’t as many black QBs 20 or so years ago and not many that became QB coaches. This will all start to change in the next 15 or so years. We are gradually seeing it with guys like Leftwich who went on to become a coach that would get elevated to OC and hopefully to head coach some day.
Black coaches on the offensive side have traditionally been RB or WR coaches.
The potential cap number just keeps rising (depending on who you ask)...
