There is some good logic in that - but I want Kelly for the season - I have a raft of other Round12'ers I want to be rid of.......
Trade 1 locked in: Warner - A. Hall (leaves me needing $28K from second trade to finance it).
Second trade depending on Byrnes and Webster's scores tonight (looping Webster and Kosi with Lachie Jones) and F. Macrae/W. Phillips being named sub or not.
Possibilities are Berry > RCD and field him at M8, Berry/Phillips > Poulter and field him at F6 if I can't get a loop for Farrar. Hopefully my mind is clear in those wee small hours and I don't end up accidentally trading in De Goey and Paddy Dow before heading back to bed.

Yeah it's such a fine line to tread. The Round 12 guys make it hard as they're harder to trade out in their bye week as you'll be getting someone in who still has to have their bye.

I was going to hold Gulden for another week (juicy matchup against the Pies) but seeing he's out for over month, I decided now is the best time to trade him. This does however mean that I've left Bolton to get rid of next week, and Houston is still under an injury cloud.

I'm exactly the same for all clubs. Nothing serious, just no need for it here - as this is our little sanctuary, lol. Defending your own club doesn't happen, if someone doesn't have a go at your club in the first place. Just creates animosity for no reason.
Btw, I spent half my day defending Richmond the other day when it came to the Rioli/Bolton incident - and that wasn't even on here.

Sorry. Geelong have the worst record for late outs in the league and whoever is second, is not even close. Not only that, but Scott has since doubled down on it, showing his contempt for fans, including Fantasy players by saying named teams should only be seen as a "guide". For two weeks in a row now he couldn't be honest about his teams even with it being only a 24 hour window. Mitch Cleary told the world Stanley wasn't playing last week. That was before teams were announced. Scott knew. It's contempt, and pathetic attempts at mind games.
The only people defending the indefensible here were Geelong supporters. Coincidence? If you think you can defend that without being challenged, dream on.
And if you want partisanship to not be part of this board have a look at yourself. It began with you.

For the record, your own coach stated how humble he was by coming into the coaches box and acknowledging you guys were the better team on GF day before the match had finished - so arrogant.
Ask yourself this, why does Scott and the Geelong selection team owe you or anybody else an explanation for their selection decisions? The entitlement of people like you who think their fantasy teams supersede the actual competition - is utterly ridiculous. I don't give a sh*t whether you have a go at Scott or the club, but when you directly have a go at supporters and play the man after simply explaining the possible reasoning behind it - that's where I draw the line.
I've done the same in the past for those who have had a go at other people's supporters, so stick your partisan argument - as it doesn't fly given I never start sh*t with anyone on this board - no matter how many opinions I might have about their club/their players/their supporters; that sh*t is for the main board.

This is a Fantasy board; team selection is especially relevant and if, it, along with anything else that is relevant pops up I have the right to discuss it. Just because it hurts the sensibilities of a person who can't separate their club from AFL Fantasy on a Fantasy forum is not a concern for me.

The closest I got to insulting you, was referring to you both as "Geelong apologists". Given, that you were doing exactly that, I would say it was accurate but it's up to you if you see it as an insult.

I remember saying to you when he was baiting you: why do you allow yourself to be trolled by him? Why can't you ignore it instead of getting so wound up. But I can see that that is impossible. There's too much of a short fuse there.
As far as divisive goes: I don't see a divided board. Most people agree that Scott and co. are taking the piss and disrespecting everyone. Warnie called Scott a flog (not a term I use) on Twitter the other night and I sure he speaks for many.
Also, maybe ask yourself: why is it that you find yourself in arguments regularly whereas in 1500 or so posts, this is the closest I've ever got to one?
And to anyone else reading this: I have stated before how much I enjoy the fact that everyone here treats this as an opportunity to learn, share, discuss, vent etc. Even the venting is good natured. The mood is such a stark difference to anywhere else on social media.
It is not my intention to come on here and pick fights but I am not going to sit here and put up with someone in a blue and white beanie tell me that what's going on re: Geelong and selection is ok. Scott can do what he likes, it appears; it doesn't mean that I, or anybody else can't be critical.
17 other coaches and clubs can manage to do it the right way; I refuse to accept that Geelong can't as well.
