Lol who said anything about changing the game plan. Just work on winning more centre bounce stoppages so you’re not so heavily reliant on our defence dominating.
it’ll happen, but it’s not worth melting about. The Dogs won the clearances most of the day v Richmond, didn’t do them much good. We might be losing them but our midfielders are setting up so much better defensively than they did when they were winning clearances which makes it easier for the back 6 to dominate. Will even out as time wears on

3 quarters of 4.3 - then we finish it with 1.7. The fat lady has already sung but it would've been nice to layer on the icing.
Our conversion is terrible this season. I think we are like 16th in the comp. Should be belting sides. Happy being 9-0 for sure, but still lots of learnings. Clearances and conversion clearly at the top of the list...

Definitely feels like the sort of game to give the opposition a patronizing "well done" post while noting our superiority, something like;

"while we weren't anywhere near our best today you should be happy to come as close to us as you did cause plenty of better sides have lost by more to us than you did today, well done guys, keep your chin up"

‘sorry for the intrusion...’

No one is melting. Yes. Our defence is protecting our clearance differential. If you’re looking to continually improve, it’s an area to work on.

We couldn’t go beyond 31 points we need Carlton to keep the honourable loss tag.

I'd never heard of Chandler before he started getting his name in all the changes threads.
Was expecting the second coming of Barrassi or Flower or something along those lines.
Still have no idea who he is or what he looks like. Maybe needs a helmet or a headband to stick out?
Pink hair dye or some s**t.

Anyway good on him for getting a win! Go Dees!

Had more impact when he was the injury sub.

Do you think we should read anything into it? More playing time in that role? Or kind of meaningless?

Didn’t have his best game this evening, but yes I think it can be read into a bit.

The competition sees a small indigenous kid who is quick, tackles and likes a goal - but he has a massive running capacity. He covers so much smart territory. Definitely happy to have him up around the ball and floating forward when Spargo, ANB and Chandler are able to contribute forward like they have been.
