I’m not one to complain about the NT deal but it’s pretty annoying that we’ve been scheduled to play Brisbane there this year when we have games against Adelaide sand Fremantle at the MCG. Good for Alice Springs to get a blockbuster but would love to play the Lions at the MCG, don’t think they could beat us there. Still have to be able to win anywhere anytime I guess

Also, I know the minor premiership is meaningless but god I hope we win it. I hope we dominate the home and away season and then crush sides in finals because I don’t want to be some kind of gross drought breaking fairytale flag like the Dogs or Richmond. Let us be a Geelong 2007-like force, a formality by the time finals even hit. I want other clubs to hate us and be desperate for us to not win it.

I wouldn’t be opposed to the footy gods bestowing us with a few finals against interstate teams. Smashing WC in a prelim would feel right.

It would be sweet revenge, but they don’t deserve our attention. There are higher goals than WCE 🙏

The arrogance of their supporters in just my few years has gotten under my skin. Laughing about 2018. Consistently mocking gawn as liam’s ladder. The list goes on and on.

By the way, I love it. What’s the point if you don’t have teams you really want to stick it to.

No doubt. But surely there’s some sort of ranking.

Myself? I would rank Geelong, WC, Hawks, and Richmond as the teams I dislike most.
For me it's generational .Growing up Collingwood were our traditional rivals but not as much now .
Carlton just because .
Hawthorn (They ruined Robbie Flower's last season )
West Coast fans ,
Recently Richmond fans.

I don’t care at all about interstate teams, except the Swans who are a classy bunch and I have a soft spot for GWS/GC. Would be disappointed to play one in a home final, esp a grand final.

Most hated are Bulldogs, Richmond; Carlton; St Kilda. Hawthorn are pretty rank too but they’re quickly sliding back into obscurity. Essendon is just a soft kill, couldn’t stand them as a kid because everyone I knew barracked for Essendon but they’re fairly irrelevant. Collingwood I actually don’t mind and now I just pity them/they’re always good as the butt of a joke and Geelong I actually kind of like.

Adelaide and WCE supporters are the worst so I hate them the most. Their consistency is undeniable, even when their team is going through a rough patch they show no humility whatsoever.

Victorian club supporters do.

Great to be able to trust a team for once. They way they play for each other and play to the game plan is very impressive.
Goody in the press conference talking about stoppages was interesting to. Basically let Carlton have an extra around the stoppage, hence Carlton winning more. But letting Lever intercept or kill the ball when it comes in as he’s able to go around without an opponent.

It's so strange isn't it, when Carlton got two goals up in the first it was just meh and not even the slightest raise of an eyebrow, in all previous years it was it's game over meltdown time

There were so many free kicks in our game, I think they were on track to give both teams 40 odd free kicks at one point, but it was even both ways so it didn't feel like it was having an impact either way
