If a girl hits a guy first, then he has every right under law to respond with reasonable self defence. It is still a dog act, but he had every right. As I have said in Andywalkersgirl's other posts attackign the 'woman bashers' of the AFL (ie Andrew Lovett), personally, I would attempt to restrain her, and would never hit back, but these guys have every right. And just FYI, not all girls are delicate ladies.

As for David Hicks, I'm sick of all you left wing yahoo ****ers getting on your high horse and defending him just because he is an Australian. All this crap about him being just an average Aussie Joe out for adventure is a load of ****. Whinge, whinge, whinge. He was captured as an illegal combatant. The US should have just killed him on the spot. Would have saved a lot of pain and grief for a lot of people. And before you knob jockeys get on here and start carrying on with your idealist waffle, sit down and take a long hard think about it. He has pled guilty. He's not a poor little innocent. You have merely fallen victim to the propoganda machine. OK, I think this needs to be addressed to the many posters defending Holland.

A) Holland was with his missus and her friend, while the other woman was by herself,
B) Holland's missus and her friend starting calling the woman a 'slag', etc, when the fight started,
C) THEY HAD HER ON THE GROUND when Holland came over and put her in a headlock, obviously to stop all the s**t, when she bit him

He then hit a woman who probably wouldn't weigh more than 60kgs soaking wet, him being a full grown man who could probably knock anyone who posts here out.
