Their list has huge holes in it and are relying on the corpses of Ted and Sloane for leadership and Laird and Keys for notching up truckloads of nothing possessions. Their kids/ high draft picks, besides Thilthorpe have been at best underwhelming, at worst terrible. They aren't tanking.

General incompetence.

It's a very weird idea that a team would kick 14 goals straight and get 5 goals in front and actually be trying to lose. It was also round 6 and they'd already won three games.

Meh you actually couldn't get 2 worse picks than Jones and McHenry and that was actually a good draft. It will take significant effort to get worse than that even if it's a poor draft
