Their club has a history of star players being involved in adultery, and i wouldnt want my son playing for a club with that sort of culture.

**Archers an overated slow hack :thumbsu:

If your son is younger than 16 you wouldn't have to worry. By the time he is old enough to be drafted North will be dead.
Haha :D

Funny seeing the Kangaroos cheer squad chanting "North Melbourne"

They do realise 'Nort Melbourne' is no longer around?

It's adultery or a drug addiction if he went to west coast. What do you choose? Unless you want him to be a ****** just send him down to Geelong...

If his son is younger than 16 and follows the eagles, chances are he has a drug problem. i.e. he would not get drafted either way.

Player not players. Adultery might be a sin in the bible but drugs are against the law.

The difference between the clubs is that North had the guts to get rid of the troublemaker. The Eagles just ignored it and let it go on till it became a bigger problem.

And the Collingwood Magpies wont exist in 15 years either. The will be called the Emirates Lexus. And no Collingwood supporter has the right to throw stones on the behavoiur of other clubs players.

I'm not so sure that a short stocky kid with stubby legs would be an attraction proposition in a few years due the increased athleticism of the game so Archer needn't worry about us wanting his off spring. Unless it is really Carey's kid.

Archer was out of line so I chose to be also.

Out of line?

For not wanting his son to go to a club with a culture of drug ridden f*ckwits who hang out with crimnals, have to be sent away from the club every 5 minutes and completely f*ck up their lives?

Forgive us but some people have basic moral standards. That and we're talking about Perth.

Oh and to the thread starter, terribly pathetic, amateurish deflection from your own disease & drug infested toilet of a club. Like I used to say to Pav For AA, obvioulsy the education system aint making it over there. :thumbsd:

I think Walls might have been out of line calling you lot evil, but Archer's comments are just that of a concerned parent. With all the problems that have been played out in the media, surely you can accept that there is the perception (rightly or wrongly) that there is a questionable culture at West Coast. IMO Archer's comment is quite a natural reaction for a concerned parent, and I would guess there are quite a few parents that are of the same opinion.

No West Coast supporter will accept the cold hard facts. Its typical of there head in the sand attitude.

"Are star player is in rehab, 8 players have admitted to taking drugs, Kerr was doing deals over the phone but we dont have a drug problem"

So what's your opinion on how the Roo's handled self confessed drug addict and mental illness AA player J Hay.

From the outside looking in he was forced to retire and from his appearance on the footy show has been given very little assistance since.

Well from what i have heard it sounds like the administration handled it poorly and i think Dean Laidley wasnt to happy with them considering Hay had done everything right in the pre season.

Also he said that he was taking drugs while he was at the Hawks. The Roos had nothing to do with that issue.

FFS who has actually said this?

I am so tired of hearing this for the last 2 weeks....yes Eagles fans have defended aspects of what is going on at the the moment rather than just take every bit of criticism up the back passage (and yes some of our less intelligent posters have made some silly comments) but in the main Eagles fans have admitted there is an issue at the club, are not happy with Cousins, have concerns about the fact Woosha knew on route to our flag that Cousins had a problem and are just damn glad the actual season has started and we won the GF rematch.

Every thread with anything remotely Eagles related....some idiot trots out the Eagles fans are in denial line....what are we in denial about exactly?

I firmly believe that as mentioned by Woosha. Whilst the club had suspicions, there was no proof and you could infer just like the Roo's with Hay that they had reasons to believe something was wrong but not the extend so the clubs treated the situation accordingly. I'm not suggesting BTW that either club did nothing as i'm sure that wasn't the case

The difference though is that in regards to Cousins. Once the extent of the problem was truly known it appears the club has gone out of it's way to help Ben deal with it including sending him to the best possible place to overcome his issues.

Something. and it's easy in hindsight to say, wasn't done by the Roo's or even Hawthorn for that matter.
