I know 5 or 10 years ago Swimming Oz decided to have relay camps to improve our changeovers.

Think he said a full second difference? But it’s a remarkable change

I think he got a bit confused. The 0.49s was correct as the total for us, but it was 1.05 seconds for them. So, 0.56s difference (and 0.6 if you include the starting leg).

There’s more events than ever so chances of winning more events are increased but it’s only one additional women’s event (which we didn’t win) and one mixed relay which we didn’t either. Definitely our best regardless.

Also far more countries seriously competing now though.

The NEW MIXED relay. No one knew what would happen exactly. (especially USA it seems lol) so was very exciting.
