All previous games under covid reduced attendances involved no fee.

We have already paid them to attend the game & there have been less games for our membership, so it's a little rich to charge yet another fee!
Someone at Ticketek probably forgot to switch that function off.

Cook playing this weekend means every single player we brought into the club in the 2020 trade/draft period has played in 2021. Thilthorpe, Pedlar, Cook, Berry, Rowe, Hately and Hinge all with at least one game under their belt.

Has that happened for us before? I guess it helps that we didn't take any rookies (not counting Gibbs).

If you don't count Borlase and Newchurch

Maybe, but I don't think so. Just putting one and one together and getting 3.
Tex not training. Will front team this afternoon. Cook named....
You may be right that we go in smaller for the conistions... but reckon we then play Thilthorpe as a more dangerous small crumbing forward than Rowe.

Officially locked in, and it's a well deserved debut for Brayden. Looked like he'll be a hell of a player from what I've seen in the SANFL.

I’ve seen them three times this year in Vic?
Good job. They've played a handful of times in Victoria but the only games I could attend, I couldn't get tickets or there was zero crowds.
I'm hoping the Melbourne game might be my chance...

Shouldn't be having to wear masks in a state where there's no community cases and hasn't been for at least 3 weeks.
Guess you don't need to wear a seat belt while driving when you haven't had a crash for 12m.
This is a pretty extraordinary case of false equivalence.

The masks protect against transference of a virus. When cases of the virus don't exist, the masks are unnecessary.

I'm not going to join the freedom march wackadoos - but holding people in constant crisis is impractical. If you want people to trust you around snap lockdowns, you also need to let them be released back to normal life once the crisis has passed.

Apologies for going off-topic with covid rubbish. I'm not discussing it any further in here, it's selection day. Just one final thing, I'm right and anyone that disagrees is wrong. Now, don't be childish and respond, it's time to move on. Be the bigger person. Don't be like me.
That's a BF gold standard post right there. 🥇
Made me smile.😆😆👍

The point is that the virus can explode in a very short period of time, and the mask wearing can limit the spread while we are unaware that it is out there. It's risk mitigation for an unseen threat.

We've been lucky to contain it in SA so far (ie people actually getting tested and thus identifying where they have been). But all it takes is a couple of idiots and it could explode before we even know it. Hence the masks.

The lockdown was not that long ago. I don't think these measures still being in place is an overreach. Particularly for a high risk event.

Jees, looks like Cook has really matured into his frame over the course of the season.

Compare that to the photo's of the day he was drafted. Where he looks more like the kid who won the Ozkick B&F then a draftee.

EDIT: Just checked and these 2 photo's were not even 9 months apart, probably closer to 7 or 8 as I don't know exactly when the newer photo was taken
