I think we need to give Rantall a chance. The guy is only 20, played a handful of games, and is not a highly skilled player, so he is going to take a bit more time.
When we drafted him, his weaknesses were his kicking, and technical skill level, but his strengths were his ball getting ability, and his endurance levels, but he had alot of upside and still does, so we knew what we were getting. I'm prepared to give him time to get his all round game together, and if does, Rantall will be a good addition to our midfield.

based on what ? he's been OK in VFL and was insipid when played out of position in AFL
Ruscoe was infinitely better when moved into his natural position, I hope Rantall proves me wrong in the midfield
But reckon you slap a Gorilla on Reef grabbing that spot

Averaged 24 disposals and 4 tackles in the VFL. I think that's more than OK. Lets not judge him until he plays some games at senior level in his natural position, not one that does not suit him.
Just a thought.
