Apart from Jack Hutchinson, hasn’t helped anyone else get drafted yet

I saw Tom blamires chatting to obree last night- I’m surprised we haven’t tried to poach him from Frankston

There's been a few others over the last ten or so years who should qualify as Collingwood VFL list players who ended up on AFL lists, like Marty Hore, Tom Jok, and we picked up Rupert Wills. I'm not sure if Ned Moyle was on our VFL list (I think he would have been), or just a 'guest' player, but there's little doubt his playing for us would have helped him get recruited.

So there's been a handful, though probably compared to the likes of Richmond and Western Bulldogs/Footscray we'd be lagging behind.

Yeah Tom Couch. Jake Kelly probably another who qualifies, and Brett Eddy as well, though we're going back c. 12-15 years with those guys.

Yes we are but shows that we had some go but honestly none have done much at AFL Level

Yes, Jake Kelly would be the only real success story out of that lot (Jurrah certainly had the ability, but didn't stick around long enough). Hutchinson plays pretty regularly, and might go on to have a decent career, but ...

Ned Moyle might do if he could ever get a game, and a chance to establish himself, but who knows when that's going to be?!

Pies VFL is suddenly becoming an Arden St, cast off, dumping ground.
What’s that 3 players in 12 months.
Probably itching to at least smell some form of success…

It should be Eddie Ford, Will Phillips and Brynn Teakle this off-season, and (the ill-fated signing of) Curtis Taylor a year ago.

A little bit of trivia here! This chap, who very recently donated this to the club, is the grandfather of Oskar Faulkhead, who is set to play VFL for us in 2026: https://forever.collingwoodfc.com.au/latest-acquisitions

For sure. If we could now pick up a decent key defender we'd be looking even better.

Things were looking pretty grim a few weeks back, but they seem to have done quite well with these recent signings. I still find it disappointing that good young prospects like Algeri and Mason didn't want to stick around, but they must have had their reasons for leaving.

No I haven't seen anyone that looks like him either. I think Jen said he was in rehab, so perhaps he hasn't been in any pics as yet.
