The sooner everyone associated with 2017 is gone the better
Yes have been saying this for a while and whilst I appreciate what Talia has done for the club, I'm glad we've ****ed him off now.

The sooner everyone associated with 2017 is gone the better
The club has been pretty open and honest with Dan, he has said that on numerous times himselfPlenty of people are complaining about Talia's comments.
The same people that have been complaining about our club's incompetent management, woeful on field results and total capitulation since 2017.
Talia has gone from playing in a GF, to seeing his employer blow up the joint, finish last, then sack him after being injured for a year.
You don't think Talia might have some question marks over how things are handled? He has not and never will be a club apologist that toes the party line at all costs.
Do you want him to just sit there and say he's happy how thing panned out for him?
Sounds like Daniel may be one of the key players in the poor culture at the Club.

To support his teammates. Is it hard to reconcile?
The club sacked him, he's "shattered" and probably pissed off. Why would he want to attend their events any more?
If he's such selfless team man, why can't he get around his teammates and support them at the best and fairest?Geezus you people are reading a lot into what he actually said and then adding a good dollop of mayo on top.
I'm pretty sure I've heard the young defenders speak glowingly of the help he's given them developing their game.
Maybe just a bbq at Sauces placeTo support his teammates.

Believe me it’s not that badi wouldn't want to go to a b&f if i was gonna score 0 votes either

So he makes two comments and suddenly he's throwing toys out the cot and is responsible for our past cultural problems? The club has been pretty open and honest with Dan, he has said that on numerous times himself
I have no problems him being disappointed and stating that he felt the club could have offered a new contract
What I take issue with is Dan now throwing his toys out of the cot, not showing up to the BnF is not great form, throwing rocks at our culture is not great form
Lets be honest, Dan wouldn't know about great culture
He has been part of a senior group that failed to deliver success, and created a divide between senior
and youngers, now we arenseeing this behaviour with his comments to catch up with senior players only

Shouldn't that read as ....A singular not plural? So he makes two comments and suddenly he's throwing toys out the cot and is responsible for our past cultural problems?
Does this sound correct when in the past Talia has been the only player to stand up to the organisation and speak his mind?
We've had multiple senior players defending the camp including our captain Sloane, we've had Tex making racist comments, we've had Jenkins crying when he wasn't selected, we've had Jacobs ditching the club at the end of the season.
But Talia makes an accurate comment about how maybe our culture still needs work and suddenly he's the architect of our issues? Lol what?
Maybe he's just had enough.
Geezus you people are reading a lot into what he actually said and then adding a good dollop of mayo on top.

Players needed to make sacrifices in relation to their pay during COVID.I can't even think what that could mean.
Players needed to make sacrifices in relation to their pay during COVID.
Some worked with the club, some didn't work with the club.
You don't see anything hypocritical about pointing out issues with our team culture while at the same time being unwilling to attend the best and fairest to acknowledge the hard work of his teammates this year?So he makes two comments and suddenly he's throwing toys out the cot and is responsible for our past cultural problems?

It depends what message he is attempting to send by not attending. Is it an attack on his teammates, or an attack on the club? You don't see anything hypocritical about pointing out issues with our team culture while at the same time being unwilling to attend the best and fairest to acknowledge the hard work of his teammates this year?

So he did his job?
The one he was paid over half a million dollars a year to do?
