Making the hill a grand stand would make it 70k wouldn't it?
Unless covid lasts for a long time, the GF is years away from AO.
Even though an increased might be nice for the occasional game, what you have at AO is priceless. The vision of whoever decided on the final design ought to be congratulated. It's not the biggest but of all the stadiums we have, it's the jewel in the crown.

I really don't care who wins as long as it's not poort. My bubble is small and if crows aren't winning, the next best thing is watching poort fans cry about something.
Im just trying to decide what is a more painful fate for them? Straight Sets or another Prelim Disaster?

If I could honestly chose I would take Prelim Disaster because Ken can remain and continue to sell the Kool Aid that he is the one to guide the team to a flag.

Anything that keeps Ken at Alberton is the best result.

I've said status of Port & Crows are in continuous transitional phases .....but want further evidence of our current #2 status in Sth Aust ....over & above Memberships, and other aspects I've already raised

No Crows Representation here .....every other man & his dog represented ....Fagan exited obviously, but not replaced
Weitering being added from a basket case club CARL is also a joke

This is evidence Port are number one?

oh pls.

says who? Certainly not the paying football supporters of South Australia who are the ones that matter.

Five minutes of glory because of ladder position is the only straw Port could grasp at to boast being the number one team in SA.

AO is absolutely fabulous, however it can still be argued (like I did) that it was short-sighted at the time to renovate rather than build a newbie.

It is a quaint ground. Really just a big suburban ground.

But to present the Grand Final, it doesn't stack up image wise to the Gabba and Perth stadium.

Gil didn't even have a discussion with Marshall anyway. So AO was never in consideration and I suspect that is due to the image of the showcase game.

I've not been to Perth stadium so I can't comment on that place.
The Gabba however is a great stadium to watch from because it's so close to the action but it is way behind AO for appeal.

It still staggers how badly carlton wrecked that promising young forward they took from us on huge money

IMO they have also wrecked Cripps and I actually believe he is a better player than what he has ever shown, but because of Carlton and the lack of foresight to see he needs support in his development in his younger years, this has taken its toll on his body.

If he had gone back home to the Eagles, he would have been one of a number of elite midfielders in that team and not the only one.

Teague sacked, as per FoxSports.
I feel for the guy. Not his fault Carlton have failed for the past 20 years.

finally put out of his misery

They must have either Clarko or Lyon locked in.

Absolutely no way would they sack him with a year to go if Clarko is available next year. If Clarko 100% isnt coaching in 2022, then Lyon must be their man.

finally put out of his misery
They have done him a huge favor because they have to pay him out his final year and he gets to move on and imo he will have no shortage of job offers as an assistant with other clubs. I hope he also decides to spill all about what happened and force Caro, McClure etc to have to write lots of bad stuff about a big Vic club

The Perth Stadium for sure, but the Gabba is a tiny s-hole.

As a Melbourne supporter, I'm currently both excited by my team's success to date and incredibly upset by the likelihood that I'll not see them play again this year and possibly miss...you know...the thing I've waited for for over 50 years.

I'm heartbroken. So be it. But this is where I came to ask a small favour.

If you attend the game on Saturday night, can you consider supporting the Demons and giving them an enthusiastic cheer?

Here's 4 reasons to support the Dees these finals:

1. They're not Port Adelaide
2. They have some solid SA kids amongst their ranks; Harrison Petty, Alex Neill-Bullen, Jack Viney and upcoming champ Kasiah Pickett
3. They are coached by legendary Crows double premiership Captain Simon Goodwin
4. The Crows were only one of four teams to beat Melbourne. If Melbourne wins the Cup, you can say that you beat the Premiers.
Unfortunately they have Jake Lever.... so....

Carlton posters pissed because of the leak, they say it was Pickering, Teague's manager that leaked it.

Beautiful.

Lets hope Teague tears Carlton a new one on TV.
