I’m ok with Riccardi as long as he isn’t managed by Old Mate Picks.

That guy can gtfo this club. Such a shame Weitering is represented by him.
Other Carlton player represented by Pick your ring - Tom Williamson
Riccardi doesn't appear to be represented by Precision Sports Entertainment Group.

I’m not keen on Brad Scott. Too much mediocrity in his coaching career and you can’t just blame the recruiting department. There must be a reason all those players didn’t want to go to north.

Small Victorian club. Not sure Brad is to blame.

Could do much worse as an assistant, but think there are better candidates for the lead role.

On Riccardi....he's a good player, but don't see where he fits with Harry, Charlie, McGivern and JSOS.

Certainly not worth trading good assets for unless we are reshuffling.
He's been playing reserves, and hasn't been able to get a game this year. Don't think they'd be asking for much.

Is there anything to be desired here? Or am I missing something?
granted I havn’t watched him much
He's not a midfielder, don't know why they're ranking him by contested possessions, metres gained or clearances.

He's also not played a massive amount of ones footy this year.

Buckley wouldn't get more than say Voss in that role.

Happy to agree to disagree.

Voss never had any sort of success and had to start again.

Buckley will go straight back to head coach if he wants to. Alternatively could probably pick up 7 figures by going into the media.

They've got him listed as a midfielder for some incredibly stupid reason. So all those "ratings" are based against the average midfielder stats.

He's a second tall forward or defender.

If Ross is appointed how will he approach uniting the team and letting them know he is boss and making sure they work hard?

He's already got his pep talk lined up...

McGovern should be trialled down back.
People keep saying this, and the only reason I can think of as to why we should do it is because his brother was a gun as a backman.

Brothers are not the same person. Mitch has shown none of the dedication to improvement or fitness that AFL requires. None. He is a sunken cost now, and our best recourse with him is to see what omelette we can make from his contract + list position.

Offer Fremantle our first and McGovern with us paying half to 60% of his contract, and see if they go for it. Their forward line is barely AFL standard, and he'd be more than guaranteed a position in their front six every week he's available, he's still getting paid what he was offered for the next three seasons, and we get his list position and half his contract off our books.

Not sure what to think about the Riccardi news. He looks to be a third tall forward type?

Even with McGov likely being out 1/2 - 1/3 of the year, is this what we should be spending trade capital on?

Gov moved to defence as an interceptor then transitions into Jones pos. Riccardi up forward. jsos everywhere because he is our number 1 utility

Depends what you class as "trade capital" I guess.

Would be surprised if he cost more than a pick in the 40s, and could easily be less (ie. a later pick, or getting a later pick back with him). He's good value at that price, with plenty of upside.

A 195cm midfielder?

That'll never work!!!

;)

Riccardi would be a good get.

Not an expensive option, ready to go, can play at either end.

22 years old, good age. Smart replacement for Levi.

Questions of where does he fit - have we learned nothing this year?

Jones, Weitering, Harry, Charlie, Gov, Pitto, TDK, Mirkov.

Lot of talent there, but not a particularly durable bunch.

People forget Oscar was in our R1 side.
