TL;dr

Their approach was to target the older people first with vaccines as they are more vulnerable. The number of dead are largely in the older category. Your chances of survival are still better with the vaccine than without it.

I’m not sure, as I haven’t read every covid post ever, but you might just be the first comparing the rights of the unvaccinated with pedos. Not saying you’re unserious, but it’s hard to take anything you say seriously when you’re mixing and matching completely unrelated things like this

That particular comment was tongue in cheek, and from memory one of the right wing political parties made the comparison a couple of weeks ago and. If you did want to take it literally which one will have more freedoms in 6 months?

While I'm here might voice my concerns about vax passports. I am more than ok with ridiculing and pitying the qanon anti vax crowd but I don't think turning them into 2nd class citizens is desirable or more importantly practical. Apart from international and interstate travel enforcing it will be a nightmare for businesses coping with irate irrational anti vaxers, leaving aside from the problem of exposing staff and other customers if you ignore the rules it will be a complete fu**en sh*t fight. Already on the main board last night some clown was telling me I had no idea what was coming my way if I sided with the tyrants

Lockdowns and isolations were a thing with the Spanish flu. Lockdown advice for covid came mostly from the health sector but whatever, facts are optional.

Feel the same way - i can see pros and cons.

My first (selfish) thought is - i'm vaccinated so whatever allows me to travel again quicker - the better.

But I don't naturally like the haves and have nots.

I come on here to get some updates and interesting info on BOTH sides of the CONVERSATION.

I will sometimes post my opinion on something or an article I have read that seemed interesting and factual. Sometimes a reply will come back against it and I take it on board and decide which side i believe on any particular subject. Sometimes what I had believed was proven wrong and I accept it and move on.
Sometimes there is a little too and froing with no real definitive correct answer one way or the other.

It is meant to be an open forum for us to converse in at least a semi-decent/friendly manner but it seems when the post swing too far one way or the other we see some unnecessary abuse and personal attacks and the thread seems to take on a bit of a immature high school feel about it.

Oh and by the way it isn't Illuminati it is Luciferianism
