A lot of blokes have worked damn hard to get Boort to where it is now and to get into another grand final would be great. To win it would be even better, but to be successful and have our young blokes want to play footy here, and to be able to attract recruits so that we do have a footy team, which was no certainty a few years ago, is what we're about.

You'll all have to forgive us at times, for being the flogee rather than the flogged is new to us!!!!

Nice and sensible post! It's all about having your local boys wanting to go back and play.

I have just read the Government is going to stop water allocations for irrigation from July if it doesn't rain in the next 6 weeks.

Can't wait until the Boort folk realise that one good year means nothing!

The club is not even spoken in the same breath as St Arnaud, Wyche and Donald. They are a never-was club!!!!

Oh smasher darling stop hurting those Boort people. From what I know about football- which isn't much Boort people put their heart and soul into that club. Yes they have struggled in the past but smasher it looks like ou are suffering from the tall poppy syndrome. We are unsure of their prospects this year, however we must realise that many of the teams they flogged last year will need to improve a lot. Why? Boort actually don't have a bad side this year. They have lost some gun players, however their side has a lot more depth than last- and as we say you are only as good as your bottom 5. I look forward to reading the results each week and i must admit i do hope Boort "stick it up them".

PS I see Charlton have recruited well in the past few days. O'Callaghan is a gun!

To be honest of late its not the Boort people complaining about the grand final or pumping up their tyres re this season on big footy. Boort peoples comments have been in reply to criticism and why wouldn't you defend your club. Its appears to be a number of people who cannot create or generate any up to date or intellegent discussion.

Its appears to me that the criticism directed at Boort could well be attributed to its improved performance on the field. People tend not to hate teams that are unsuccessful the Western Bulldogs are a prime example. If I was Boort I'd be taking it as a back handed compliment.

Roc an honest enquiry when did St Arnaud last play in the finals?

I just think there is one poster who lacks all credibility on here at all and loves to pot Boort and other posters for no particular reason. Smasher, just about everyone else on here has made it clear where their allegiances lie bar you..... Why dont you come to the party and tell us who you support???? At the moment your just Captain Negativity with no credibility at all and you will come back with your usual responces but would be great to see you come out and show some support for your club also as these Boort boys on this forum are doing! Easy to pot blokes when you dont reveal who you follow!

Boort posted all last year how they were going to take the cup home, only to lose the big one!
