Who are people willing trade at years end to try and get us another first round pick? If you had to make a tough call to turn this list around.

Billing’s, Gresh & Hill I’d be happy with but doubt they’d command anything we’d take.

As much as I like him - If there were a contender that offered up a top 15 pick, I’d trade Members. King is such a focal point already and put more into Sharman. He’s the only one I can see that might get a decent pick that I’m comfortable wouldn’t hurt the team as badly as others.

It would be a disaster. A treloar deal. We get a second and have to pay 300k a year.

Would rather keep him, he is the least of our worries.

I actually think he's alright as a HBF. You would only do that trade so that you didn't have to look at the disappointment of not getting what you thought you were getting. How many years have we got left on that deal?

Marshall is probably the only player we have that would command a first round pick that isn't untouchable. Membrey would make sense with replacements but he's going to get about what we got for Bruce.

Thank you, remember how bad it was last year when Marshall and Ryder weren’t there. So why would we do that to ourselves again? Yeah Heath might end up being a player but he’s got to develop. And Tom Campbell might not be much better.
The offer for Marshall would have to be to good to refuse

I'd say Sinclair too. Guy gets it done most weeks, even to the point the coaches put him in the midfield in the 2nd half because the rest of the mids couldn't get the job done.

I don't see the point of trading anyone for chicken feed.
Someone commented that the club highly rates Membrey. Good so do i.
That doesn't mean you don't trade him, what it means is that if you want to prise him from us , you better have something decent.
Otherwise we keep him until he retires a club legend.

Yeah totally but that's unrealistic, best offer would be in the 20s and he's worth way more to us than that. Teens pick would be a tough call if we're rebuilding again.

We probably aren't getting pick 5 but a pick in the 20's for Sinclair is an absolute bargain.

Plenty of clubs would happily give a pick in the teens I would imagine.

We badly need another first to boost this list but only a handful on the list would command that and most we can’t afford to loose. If we could find a competent ruckman cheaply then Marshall would probably land us the same sort of return we’d get for king but he’s 5 years older.

It’s just a tough situation.. no one really has top currency and the three that do are young enough to be there in a few years if we draft right..

Not saying we should. But we don't have much that would get us a first. King, Steele and Marshall IMO. The first two are nailed shut untouchable. Marshall is 27 this year. If the shit hit the fan and we were looking at a 5 year rebuild, he's probably the only one we'd consider at the right price.
