So would you take Wright with pick 8 knowing this is what he becomes?

Say he gives 100 games at this level?

In that draft?

Discounting the free hits like Andrews and Heeney there’s probably only 6-7 that are definitely better than him so absolutely.

He’s only getting better as well, even though it’s taken him a bit more time to arrive.

If we get a genuine CHF who pushes up the ground and makes space for him then he has even more levels to go to I believe. He's hitting the pack, clunking them and kicking with accuracy. If he's afforded more space and starts to lead with more authority we have a gun on our hands.

Did not expect it to happen to be honest. After the loss of confidence up north, he had a real "don't hit me" face.

I'd also like to see him step up a bit more to make sure it comes to the ground a little more when he doesn't mark it.

I'm spewing we can't see a peak Tippa working at his feet.

He's currently 5th in goals and goal assists in the AFL. Putting it into context, the 4 ahead are Hawkins, Cameron, Naughton and Curnow. Naughton is the only other bloke outside of the top 8 in the top 10 for this

And he'll be wanting a big game this time. Got held to 8 touches and no goals by Collins last time.

He's also 5th for contested marks behind Max King, Tom Lynch, Naughton and Gawn. He's ahead of Hawkins of all people!

He is going great. I thought today he looked a bit leaner which may explain why he doesn’t fade in and out of games as much. Just that bit fitter and definitely more confident.

Aside from Coleman predictions or goals kicked I think Pete 1v1 would be one of the most daunting tasks for a key position Backman in the game. Jeremy Cameron would be tough with his running ability but when the ball is kicked to Pete’s advantage there is nothing a defender can really do to stop him.

He's just *en thriving being The Man 😍

Love it that he is now demanding the ball be kicked to him even in a huge pack situation (and he normally clunks it).
