Data from footywire. To check the draft order see the thread here.

Does anyone know if the the Suns can prelist Darwin NT players again this year without using a pick?

Or do they need to use a pick if a player is bid on?
Nothing official yet but it is expected that it will go back this year to other teams academy kids rules - using pick, 20% discount if bid is put on them.

Every club goes through spud recruitment periods, but name a player whos gone to GC with the 30+ years worth of draft picks theyve been given, who has become a good player or fulfilled their potential at GC? I can only think of touk miller.

Swallow
Lynch
Prestia
Sexton
Martin
Saad
Ainsworth
Scrimshaw
Powell
Bowes
Rowell
Anderson

Holman has been a pleasant surprise for them too (from a discarded former club perspective)

Your mob spent how long as a joke? 20 years plus?

I could list a fair few careers that were flushed down the dunny wasted at Richmond over that period.

Short memories.

As I said. Dumb comment.

Thought they’d be more focus on the suns from a trade perspective - they have a large group of former top 10 picks in the vfl / fringes of 22.

Flanders/Bowes/Sharp/Hollands - can they keep them all?

All of those you mentioned are contracted which would be why they are not talked about knowing gc can hold them to their contracts

Interesting to see Nathan Wilson in our radar.

5 aren’t there, sexton playing vfl. Swallow good ordinary Ainsworth ok Bowes in and out Powell looks promising until injured, Rowell ok but not living up to hype Anderson coming along nicely. NB: Anderson should be at hawthorn it’s an absolute disgrace a premiership player doesn’t qualify for father son 100 games so arbitrary and stupid up there with the ruck nomination rule. All that said your argument doesn’t seem to hold
much weight.

And the substance of the disagreement is…?

Can't believe they haven't tied up Caleb Graham as yet.
I'd be surprised if clubs aren't even asking his manager some questions. Shows promise, although he's a Qld kid who's odds-on to stay.

There was a media info that clubs are interested but that he will re-sign with Suns.

Interestingly, for most Suns fans he is a whipping boy. Not for me. He works hard and progresses steadily.

Players are always viewed a little differently from the outside looking in.

His parents moved down to the Gold Coast too I believe? I hoped the dogs would make an offer but he seems pretty settled at the Suns

Yes, the whole family moved to GC. I would say no chance for Graham to leave unless Suns are not interested but the report was that they are talking about the extension.
