Just on the topic of Collingwood winning the close games this year - this shows how that can change from one season to the next

When the pressure goes up in finals, will Collingwood be able to lift also or will they put in a performance like Port did in last years prelim?

They'll be a 50/50 proposition in the EF against the Bulldogs or Tigers. If they survive that, I don't see them beating Brisbane at the Gabba or Sydney at the SCG.

As I've said way too many times this year, what a horrible game of footy. Hawthorn at least have the excuse they are pretty young side. Geez Saints are bog ordinary. Just no spark with them.

Mason Wood and Ben Long went absolutely apeshit at Max King in the last quarter. Saints dropped their head after that and Hawks nearly stole it.

It was some of the worst teammate behaviour I've seen. I hope they put on the post game shows or i'll have to bloody upload the thing.

Fair outing from Marshall.
30 disposals, 9 marks & 35 hitouts.
Marshall was tracking brilliantly and then they brought in Ryder and he's just been "good". Ryder goes down and Marshall shows his true potential.

They have a number of issues and leadership is possibly the biggest.

We can’t possibly be that lucky.
I said elsewhere on the site 4 months ago the end to their season could see them tumble out. And they're now teetering.

IF: We go 3 losses for Carlton 12 wins won't likely be enough. They have BL (Gabba), Melbourne (G), Collingwood (G). I'd say they're underdogs in all 3.
1 wins gets them to 13 wins.

IF: We give all other relevant games to the higher team at the time.

R20: Rich lose to BL.

R21: Dogs lose to Freo, Saints lose to Cats, Tigers beat Port. (assuming BL beat Carl).

Carl 48
STK 44
Rich 42
Dogs 40

R22: STK lose to BL, Dogs beat GWS, Tigers beat Hawks. (Assuming Dees beat Blues).

Carl 48
Rich 46
Dogs 44
STK 44

R23: Rich beat Ess, Dogs beat Hawks, STK lose to Swans. (assuming Coll beats Blues)

Tigers 50
Dogs 48
-------
Blues 48
STK 44

Now the thing about that is IMO the Dogs are more likely to beat Freo (docklands) and the saints have a better chance of snagging a game at Marvel v BL or Syd than Carlton do in any of their last 3 games. So if the dogs can snag Freo next week and the Tiges can beat BL at the G the same weekend, then it opens up Carlton beating one of the 3 they have left and still missing out.

IMO 0 wins from 3 and they're out. 1 from 3 is 50:50 and 2-3 from 3 is 100% in the finals.
