We have to look at Logue imo this Barrass stuff just hasnt come up in the media at all. Logue shouldnt be an expensive option if they arent offering him a contract.

Dunkley moving shouldnt effect our other moves we have a lot of mid size contracts ending this season Schache and JJ, Mclean and Cordy. Bruce heading into the last year of his deal and youd assume the last of his big money.

They are offering Logue a contract, all reports are he’s leaving as he’s getting offered a much bigger/longer one elsewhere. He’s going to cost a lot relative to what he’s worth IMO, in saying that if we’ve got the cap space which we should - just make it happen.

I really don’t see why we wouldn’t be favourites for him, Logue & Jones in is all we need really, Lobb would be a bonus

The Pies issue with him is his lack of forward pressure.

He’s got a lot of talent and probably cost a second round pick. Along with the pressure, needs to get rid of his yips.

Would add to our list - having him in the forward line with Weightman would be very potent…

I would offer our second in a heartbeat if that's all it took. Will be a very good player

Do they? They were going for Brayshaw as well as Jackson and now Brayshaw is staying they should fine.

TBH I'm not sure we need another mid sizer. I'd consider a crumber (noting Weightman plays more like a mdi sizer than a genuine crumber).
Rowe might be ok despite being a little bit slow - remember Gia was slow but his footy IQ was high so he made an effective forward.

Agree. Gardy, Jones, Logue is good enough for first choice defenders. Cordy and Keath as backup should be fine (assuming Keath isn't full cooked). Then we have options for where to play Darcy depending on whether we get Lobb, how cooked Bruce is etc.

If we managed to hold onto Dunkley and bring in Logue and Jones then that's a premiership-capable list imo. At that point it's in Bevo's hands how far we go.

Also Crozier was our best and most consistent player at the beginning of the year. I am not sure why he didn't make it back into the squad after his fainting spell?

Yep the bloke was coming off back-to-back top 10 B&F finishes so he'd be on good coin. The salary dump is worth more than whatever pick we get (I would think pick upgrade or future 3rd/4th). Cleary has already gone past him so its not any loss for the AFL team. I think this is less on the coaching staff. When's he's played he hasn't appeared to have a different role, he just drops the marks he used to take and bombs the ball aimlessly down the line.

I like Crozier, obviously he has to move on to play senior football but I'd think a token 5th to get him to where he wants to go would suffice. We get a bit of cap room, another club gets an experienced backman who is a positive influence on the group.

Croz is a decent player but he has neither the speed/skill to be a rebounder nor the aerial presence to be an interceptor. His aerial game for the first couple of years was very strong but dropped off significantly for whatever reason.
