Barham outplayed Sheedy at his own game and did it beautifully.

Pretty sure he knew what he was walking into. I mean when he was appointed Essendon were in 'turmoil'. As he has said many times, his job will be running the footy department. Don't think he cares too much with what is going on at board level. Slobbo can print all the crap he wants but it never is as bad as it seems. If it was, Brad would never of signed in the first place. I truly believe it will all sort itself out sooner or later and Brad would think so too. Just my opinion by the way.

I couldn't be any surer that all the leaks we're now seeing is the last ditch effort by the old guard to prevent the change that will come. The coteries, Sheedy, Dodoro and others are throwing everything they can now before Barham has a chance to act on the report.

This report is going to be damning and there's going to be nowhere to hide for a few people.

We are seeing the final death throws of a bloated self serving organisation that has hoarded their power for too long and their time is up.

I was against Brad Scott's appointment, but it's now clear to me that this appointment from Barham might just save our club from these fools. Yze would have been eaten alive and Hird might have galvanised the club, but the influence of Sheedy would have been too great.

Kevin needs to go. This makes me think back to when they made him an 'Immortal' or whatever it was at the 150th dinner, at first I thought it was just an empty platitude for an old man, but now I see it as an offering from Brasher to try and keep Sheedy in line by appealing to his vanity. Clearly it wasn't enough.
