I'm actually still bullish. That last quarter wasn't indicative of the game, Sydney started taking pot shot risks, it payed off and then they had their tails up / we gave up and the margin blew out.
Those young guys are gonna be better off with more gametime in them, they aren't gonna keep making all those dumb d50 turnovers, and that's the game right there, even considering how well Papley played.

Shocking finish to a bad game. Clearly injuries are hurting but that was just bad. Good players had bad games (Balta was a standout here), new players had bad games (Ryan stands out here), defence had holes from the start (couldn't man Amartay or Papley) and it took a bit before the midfield could actually link with the forward line.

Riewoldt played a great game, as did Cumberland. The forward line looks fine but the backline just looks plain disjointed. Midfield is hurting but this to me is a small part compared to how bad the backline has fallen apart.

Just bad really but way too early for any of the 'sack Hardwick' talk.

I don’t know how we can make the same mistakes over and over again. Something has seriously gone wrong at our club. It’s just… so disappointing after the optimism coming into the year, to have this be how players like Cotch go out and just seeing us so uncompetitive is sad. I really wish I cherished those 3 flags more in the moment.

Boy ohh boy. When JR8 is your best player you need to ask some serious questions about this group.

Stupid free kicks, brain fades and simple mistakes and playing 1qtr of football seems to be the new norm for the Tigers.

Give this year to develop the younger players, play Ross. Happy to loose by 80+ against Melbourne if we giving games to them.
