Almost always yeah, he's been drafted as a tight end though (so a big bloke who sometimes blocks the outside and sometimes catches).
For comparison check out Travis Kelce whose one of the best in the NFL.

hope he's ready for some real contact. TE have to block linemen and linebackers, and when they catch a pass are often in that 'hospital' position.
