Yeah, a heart breaker. If they had someone on the line he could've at least spoiled it through to tie things up. Was always going to be hard after that. That last shot on goal for GWS![]()

A few times they kicked it forward to Toby when he was surrounded by taller Pies...
Anyway, really hope GWS go the next step in 24.
Gotta play another team thoughI hope not
I'd rather see the team in blue & white hoops be back up at the top competing in the last Saturday in September
Well with that result I will at least be the equal champion of the Geelong cats tipping yet again! That’s 3 out of the last 4 years the tipping champion…. A dynasty! Dynasty ! Bears win at the gabbatoir will be outright winner yet again! Moderators get your rewards ready!
Yeehaa- go pies. Never in doubt!
Thought the umps let plenty go in the second half for both teams. Didn’t think it impacted on the result.Gifted a win by umpires.

Disagree. Have seen MANY worse prelims. This imho, was the game of the yearThat was one of the worst standard prelims in a long time as far as quality goes.
I hope the missed opportunity hits the geelong players deep because this is a bradbury year for sure.

I know your feelings about the standard of the comp, but you forget how far behind these teams we were.
This is the Pies feeling the effects of playing one game in 4 weeks getting over the line against a really classy team

We struggle to beat gws in seasons when we are playing well, dunno how we would have beaten them tonight. That was one of the worst standard prelims in a long time as far as quality goes.

We only just beat them last year when we were hot, and they beat us twice this year. Crap is certainly not applicable to themNah i liked the effort because you had 2 teams fully committed and i respect that.
But asides from a few class players-guys like daicos and pendles and sidey and de goey and greene and ash and whitfield and green on the other it was a case of watching a bunch of potato farmers at the bottom end of each team make skill error after skill error. Thats what this year has been a race to the bottom not a race to the top.
Collingwood are just lucky they are slightly less crap than everyone else. Each to their own but not a standard of footy to catch my interest.
NOWHERE near it.We struggle to beat gws in seasons when we are playing well, dunno how we would have beaten them tonight.
