If Melbourne have just issued an ultimatum, they’d be just starting to have discussions with Oliver and aren’t going to rush into accepting he’s changed. They must have very serious concerns over him for it to have even got this far.

I think they are still working through that and hence can’t rush to issue a definitive statement.

When he was out our mids continued to win contested ball and when he came back both Viney and Petracca dropped way off to make way.

Our forwardline is shit, our youth is shit and we have no mids who can hit a target. Would love to cash in and reinvest in other parts of our list so godspeed this is still alive.

In what world would we go cold on Redman because of Milera's form? We would have hauled one of Milera/Hinge to the wing to accomodate Mason.

We were dumped at the altar by Redman. Not the other way around.

We probably aren't in a position to go for Oliver if Redman thought his future lied here, but that might be an accidental blessing.

We did replaced Milera for Smith after round 8 and he regained his form and you want to move him to the wing? Maybe Hinge but he looked very good playing HB late in the season, would prefer Jones on the wing.
