People do realise if we take someone in the main draft it’s a 3 year contract? Or one year if we take rookies, giving more flexibility to the list?

Maybe, but I see it as trading 48 for a pick in the 60s being awful ROI. If that was proposed two weeks ago you’d ask for the Poort poster to be banned and sent to an ice bath.

These picks do get thrown around a bit for academy trades etc.

Looking at the players getting selected at the moment there's really nothing to write home about.

How does the ssp work? You invite players to train over summer and then you can put one on your list before the season? Can you recruit ssp players training with other clubs?
