Not excusing the team and their efforts tonight,however I was up there 2 weeks ago and there is no getting used to the conditions in 24 hours.
As a southerner it just kills me.
Arriving yesterday and then sitting around all day today is a recipe for legs of lead.
You only have to look at someone like Scrimshaw who is drenched in sweat at quarter time. Unless you have played in it you cannot realise how much it takes out of you.
Players have been running on the spot since early in the match.
Has happened the last 3 years now and add the Hawks’ lack of talent and you are watching the results.
