I'd say the big difference between our supporters and theirs is that we lack the delusional thought process of where the list is at.
They think they are a half decent coach away from multiple flags. I'd argue they need a rebuild around the ground.

This is the first test for them this year and they've crumbled horribly. Yes, they're missing Taylor but Carlton have a few out themselves.

Taylor is a massive loss for them, best full back in the comp. But yeah, other than Collingwood they have bashed up on some fairly ordinary teams.

Goes to show our performances are more to do with coaching than talent... so we are ****ed for 3 years unless we sack Nicks.
Reckon i will consider giving up my memberships which I have had since year 2 (I attended all games in year 1 on day tickets)... unless the club get serious about change.

Carlton also didn't tag izak Rankine...essendon did and it totally negared him for a large part of the match. Coaching again as i'd have put him 1 out inside 50 with his tag and dared his tag to stop him there

This is a key issue - we have been outcoached in all but 1 game this year.
They have a very limited ability to mix things up on game day when needed.
There is a lack of smarts in our coaching box which is why we have no future without change.

Whilst I agree, as moving Rankine up forward could have won us the game.
Long-term, though, probably better he learns how to break that tag in the middle. Not just him alone, but his team mates learn how to assist. Blocks at stoppage etc.
They won't learn that going the easy option of playing forward whenever midfield gets too tough.
Rankine as a goal kicking mid is a better asset than him as a SF.

How was that not dissent against Hawkins? Should have been another goal to Brisbane (Ala what they paid against us v Carlton)
