I've got no problem with complaining about shit they get wrong (and there's been a fair bit of that I know) but the constant jumping on when it's the media driving the conversation is getting very tiresome. We've manage to stuff up pretty much everything over the last 20 years, how could someone's automatic response be "nah, the club have got this one right"

Surely it has to be "what've we done wrong this time".

If it looks like a bad idea it is until proven* otherwise.
*Proven is not a press release from the AFC or sound bite from one of our coaches.

If you've been kicked in the nuts 20 times and someone's lining up for number 21 you're not thinking "it won't hurt this time" just because Nicksy said it will be OK.

But on pretty much every occasion you now acknowledge well after the fact they ****ed up you were conducting the same furious responses about how you'd totally call out REAL **** ups, but this one's too far.

If we for a second assume you're good faith (which is a big assumption), you may just not be the best person to make assessments about whether **** ups are real.
