Pretty funny that just a few weeks ago many people were saying too 8 was set and there would be no changes.

Now we are at round 12 and all of a sudden Fremantle and Gold Coast are in, Collingwood and Melbourne out.

It’s going to change again no doubt.

Unfortunately, we won’t be in it.

This club has sucked the life force out of me.

Next year it will be 8 years since we played finals, 27 years since we won a flag. For a club with its membership base, state dominance, we are becoming SA’s version of St Kilda. ****!

We ain’t making the eight, this year or next.

This is the club's lowest point.

Even with the camp fall out and a wooden spoon, at least there was hope of a better future with a rebuild and bringing in Thilthorpe.

Now we have gone through the rebuild and no sign of real improvement.

Robert Shaw would have coached into the year 2000 with this Administration in charge.

Again its not just on us to keep winning but hope our closest oppo dont

West Coast play North Melbourne at home - W - 16 points
Adelaide play Richmond - W ( lets be positive) - 22 points
St Kilda play Gold Coast at home - who knows but lets say W - 20 points
Bulldogs play Brisbane in Melbourne - more likely Dogs get the W - Brisbane 18 Dogs 28
Giants v Hawks in Melbourne - dunno lets say GWS - Giants 32 Hawks 20

All the other games are out of our reach this week

We can move to 12th BUT Dogs have a 6 point gap on us to 11

Again stop the mathematically possible

We might as well call ourselves St Adelaide
The similarity between Nicks and Richo are uncanny
Those Power assistants really know how to kick on after leaving

Talk of miracles happening to make the eight. Has anyone thought we just don't have enough AFL standard players to pull off this miracle?

Reckon we have the weakest bottom 5-6 of any of the eight contenders and not enough elite players to balance that out.

Not sure anyone said it was set. But each week that goes by, the competing field becomes a bit clearer. Right now you’d be very confident that only the top 11 can make it. And only Lions have the list to go on the big run of wins required to climb over 4 of the those 11. So it’s a race in 12, with only 3 or 4 certainties at this stage.

We won't be making the finals with this coaching group.

Sadly it is that simple.

Anyone who thinks we have a (mathematical) chance of making the 8, I suggest you re-watch the first half from Saturday. We are bad. Really bad. Hawks have done a better rebuild in half the time. There is absolutely no hope of making the 8 this year, and without coaching / game plan / list changes, none for the forseeable future.

Bad news, losing tonight still has us finishing 14th on my ladder predictor. 4 and a half games to 15th, bottom 4 are absolute garbage this year.

And right now we'll be lucky to win another game this season. Toughest draw and a bigger injury list does not help.

As much as I’d love Port to only win 3 more games for the year I think they’ll make it… although I do have Fremantle v Port determining who makes it.

I also think Melbourne are done with Petracca out for the year.

This is what I get with no crazy unexpected results.
