Himmelberg at his best can be really good, thinking of that Showdown in 2022 where he was clunking marks, kicked 4 goals and a couple of clutch ones in the last quarter.

His issue is he's inconsistent as hell, which is what's kept him from being a best 22 player. You don't know if you're getting the 15 disposal, 7 mark, 3 goal Himmelberg who can randomly appear or the 6 disposal, 3 mark, 1 behind Himmelberg who seems to show up more often.

Smith is cooked, Laird can't hit targets, Milera is injured, most of our other defenders don't have a huge offensive side to their games, Cumming does. The best teams have 2 or more of this type, we have 0

He's surprisingly capable as a forward, strong overhead, and would be a big upgrade on Murphy. But ultimately still a role player

If he played midfield, I reckon he’d be a decent upgrade on Berry

The list isn’t concrete and was more of a thought experiment. The main point of it though is that no matter what list you make Kennedy is unlikely in the top 6, so with how tight list spots are is there a purpose in getting him.

Not really inury prone except for this year, it seems his injury this year wasn't well managed though from the outside, so having Burgo may help for sure

That said, realistically we should look to replace him with someone that’s more dynamic and already on the list

He definitely doesn’t need to, but if he’s decided, what’s not nominating achieve unless that club is still in finals and prefers no nomination for whatever reason.

ANB may have taken a bit to nominate a club because he needed assurance a trade was possible. That’s not a factor here, Cumming is 100% getting to the club he wants.

You'd think given our position and the apparent "aggressive nature" we were meant to hit trade period with, youd imagine if he's our target we wouldnt have any issues with providing the biggest offer
