Whitfield and Hodge are different players. In hindsight, you'd take Hodge at 1 nearly every time. But he was drafted as a ball winning mid. Whitfield was also drafted as a mid. In hindsight, you'd take him high. But without knowing what he'd become, he's an outsider. Don't spend top 10 picks on outsiders. if you do, you'll lose more than you win.

This is ludicrous. Have you seen the 2012 draft? He’s by far the best player and is an elite distributor and player. When Teams tag Whitfield out of the game, GWS are a much worse team.

2. On trade to GC for 13

3. On Trade to Swans for 19 and 22

4. 19 for Baker and keep 22

Would rather keep those two F1s and trade our F1 for GC 6 **** Richmond and Rioli

Whitfield was the hyped number 1 pick that year and has lived up to every bit of it.

It's a different pot calling the kettle of fish black if it helps get Bolton over to their club. I'm sure Dockers fans would be melting at the prospect of adding Baker for that pick alone without Bolton being part of the discussion too. Happy to be corrected here though.

If Bolton is so concerned that Richmond be copensated "fairly" then surely he will agree to go to Freo with their higher draft pick.
