Amazingly I posted on the Pointless Trivia thread about the Top 50 oldest people this very morning. Elizabeth Francis's passing means that there are now just four people living born prior to 1910 (two in 1908, two in 1909) and just 46 known people who were alive when the Titanic sank in April 1912.

No, the ones I mentioned were born the day after Dorothy Arnold vanished in 1910, two who were born on the same days as famous women from the past in early 1912 and two others were to do with the Titanic.

Former Australian actor Dean Nottle died on 29th July 2024 after a long illness. He was a lookalike for, a similar age to and had a similar career span and roles to another Australian actor Peter Mochrie and in two of their best-known roles in Australian TV shows both men played characters who seemed like really nice guys but were the hidden villains towards the end.
