Logically if you're building towards a flag with a multi year plan, then you pick the talls first as they take longer to develop.

Top of the draft is mostly full of high their midfielders, and currently we only have 2 1st rounders and a 4th rounder next year, and the 2 firsts are likely to be top 5 and will be used on another 2 top their mids . We don't want to be a position like North trying to trade down because all the position players are down the line.

Which over the 2 drafts will leave us with 4 top of the line mids, a mid-forward, 2 KPF, 1 KPD and a Ruck/Foward.

Pretty balanced overall.
