We also had 7-9 Seattle host 12 win defending champs New Orleans in 2010 with the beastquake game.

If the Vikings wanted to host a playoff game they should have played with pride today and fight for it. Win the division and sleep at home. Get in as a wild card too bad. Enjoy the hotel life for the post season
The year of the NFC worst. Plenty of the scribes back then hated Seattle hosting New Orleans

I don't think people were shitting on Penix, more the Falcons process of paying Cousins a fortune then selecting an older college QB in the top 10.
There were people sitting on him for being a 1st round pick, his age and because they only time they saw him was the national championship game

Fair enough. I actually said it in the college championship thread after the game that I still thought he could go as high as the Falcons first round pick. It was the best day of my life

Medical will decide where he goes, if all good I could still see him going as high as Atlanta at #8

Downs, fair enough. Pittman sucked this year even with Flacco throwing to him.
Injured for a lot of it I think, fracture in his back apparently... Past two weeks with Flacco. Week 17: 9/109 1 TD Week 18: 6/72

Pittman said that he will undergo tests on his back Monday to determine whether he'll require offseason surgery, Joel A. Erickson of The Indianapolis Star reports.
Though he missed just one game all season, Pittman disclosed Monday that he's been feeling pain in his back since training camp. He first showed up on the Colts' injury report with a back issue in Week 3, when a scan revealed he was dealing with a small fracture. Pittman continued to play through the injury even though doctors informed him that his condition would likely worsen

I don't think that's a QB that I ever want to recruit.

I'm realistic enough to understand the game of setting the new record and all this, but Derek Carr isn't in that game.

The game he's in is "ageing, overpaid QB with a $50m cap hit, who could probably benefit from the running back that $7-8m of cap saving might yield him."

I don't want to hear this "make all I can for my family" rubbish, I want to hear dedication to the team and the project.
Come on mate, he has done it tough. His poor family.

And that does not include his endorsements....

Watch the Jets throw everything at this clown
Didn't they think about him before word got out Green Bay were done with Rodgers and then Carr signed with the Saints right away

He's only useful at this point as a veteran to shield a rookie.

At least Carr wouldnt have cost them any picks for similar production and more games. Woody was wrong again.
At this point it should only be newsworthy if Woody is right. But then there wouldn't ever be any Jets news

Thought it was odd that Trey Lance got a start, I figured the cowboys wanted to see what they had.

No just a tight owner wanting to save coin and avoid a relatively small bonus.

More importantly he's either senile or incompetent at his role as a GM if "he wasn't aware"

If he gave up being the GM they’d win a Super Bowl straight away. Remember he wanted to Johnny Menzel

I heard Pierce was fired as HC of the Raiders.

Here we go again.
